Main tasks

The wait staff is responsible for serving and delivering a positive, attentive and enjoyable eating experience for all guests.

• Greet customers with courtesy and be attentive to customer needs
• Assist guests with tueur orders explaining specialties, dishes and drinks and making recommendations
• Check that the guests are satisfied with their meals and drinks and nurture repeat guest relationships and service
• Advise kitchen of any food allergies and/or special guest requests
• Prepare bills for tables and process payment
• Adhere to all food health safety, sanitation and quality principles

Skills and Qualifications

• Professional experience as waiter an asset
• Bilingual (English/French)
• Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, energetic, professional, team player, ...)
• Knowledge of the characteristics of different wines, cocktails and menus
• Customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult situation
